Can we just go back to Alyssa and Anthony’s day?! Give us a beautiful couple, both inside and out, add a classic city wedding complete with all the lovely Winter details — yes, please! Our intimate day with Alyssa and Anthony started with Bride and Groom preparations at the gorgeous Mansions on Fifth. After capturing details, portraits and relaxed candids with their family and friends, we all made the short trip to nearby Heinz Memorial Chapel where they exchanged vows with Heinz providing a spectacular backdrop. And when you are in a church as gorgeous as Heinz and in the middle of a Pittsburgh Winter it was a priority of the couple to make use of the space and capture beautiful indoor images. Then it was back to Mansions on Fifth (stopping briefly for a night shot on the front porch area!) for their grand entrance. We have to say that the absolute highlight of the evening — and a joy to photograph — was the heartfelt welcome and toasts, particularly by Alyssa’s father, with their family looking on. While we are busy photographing, it’s simply uplifting to listen and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight! After a delicious dinner, PJ the DJ expertly presided as master of ceremonies and kept the evening flowing and the dance floor filled — dance moments were alive!
