Oglebay’s Lake View Patio and Glessner Auditorium provided the perfect backdrop for Brittany and Andrew’s Oglebay Wedding day! With the perfect blend of relaxed, intimate morning preparations and wedding ceremony they mixed an absolutely legend wedding reception celebration for their family and friends! From the moment we first met during our initial consultation, they made clear that their wedding day priority was to provide their guests with a true celebration. A clean and crisp color pallete perfectly balanced the warm tones and enchanting ambiance of the Glessner reception decor.
We began our day with wedding party preparations at Oglebay’s Wilson Lodge and then set a wonderful “first touch” where the couple read letters to one another without actually seeing each other. We then transitioned to their memorable ceremony on the Lake View Patio. A stunning venue, the patio overlooks the West side of Oglebay’s magnificent property. Pro tip: if you are planning an outdoor wedding ceremony, what really makes the Lake View patio a wonderful ceremony location (aside from the gorgeous view) is the direction of the sun at mid-day. During the typical mid-day ceremony time, it will be behind the couple as opposed to harshly in their faces.
After a pause for the perfect mid-aisle kiss, we quickly completed family photos and headed to the Mansion area for a beautiful portrait session….and keep scrolling down to see those fabulous reception images!
