It’s not surprising that we both readily admit to being “people watchers.” Considering that we are photographers, you may find that to be rather obvious . . . after all, you may think, “don’t you have to watch people in order to photograph them?”
But our approach to a wedding day is a bit more purposeful — we observe and learn our client’s own unique story. The relationships and dynamics of our couples, their families and friends. It helps us catch moments and it’s one of the reasons why we love what we do. It helps us capture the best of the day.
Brandy and Justin’s day was filled with wonderful connections. Vows were exchanged at St. John’s in nearby Bellaire — truly one of the most beautiful churches in the area and it photographs just beautifully. After, they treated their guests to an intimate, tented reception at The Lawrencefield Bed and Breakfast in Wheeling including a delicious meal catered by Jane Miric at Food by Jane. While it rained off and on throughout the day, everyone took it in stride and danced the evening away! We closed out their wonderful evening with a romantic night portrait in the back entrance of the Estate. Special thanks to Dave and Betsy’s team at The Lawrencefield — well done!
And a little bonus — at the bottom of the post, you can see images of the beautiful 10×10 leather album that we recently delivered. All of our albums are designed by us and completely hand-crafted by a small family-owned book maker in New York state!
