Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer — Erin and Tom

Yet another incredible Fall wedding in Pittsburgh! Through the course of the wedding season, one of the interesting things that we always notice are couples that coordinate their day’s colors with the seasons — Spring weddings see lots of greens and pastels while Fall weddings tend to bring harvest colors to the fore. This wedding was no exception as Erin and Tom carefully wove a Fall theme throughout their day using a rich, dark red and orange color scheme that was beautifully done.

High above the South Side section of Pittsburgh, Erin and Tom exchanged vows at Saint Wendelin’s Cathedral. During the homily Father Nick Argentieri gave a particularly meaningful homily and proceeded to lead Tom through an impromptu magic trick joining two rubber bands into one — the look on Tom’s face as he completed the trick was priceless and he had to take a bow! After, we went to the Mellon Institute in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh for bridal portraits under the façade of its massive limestone columns. The day ended at nearby St. Nick’s Cathedral room with the reception lasting long into the evening. Here are a few of our favorites from the day.
